Raising five creative daughters, most of whom spent much of their early years with a drawing instrument in their hand, meant one thing. My sketchbooks were not safe from the odd rogue children’s drawing. Not that I mind in the least.
Drawings are not just representative. They are a visual diaries, capturing a person, a time and place, a moment, an emotion. Recently I’ve discovered this old sketchbooks with drawings from 2011 – my last time in the Lake District. It really is high time I went back there.
I discovered some interesting additions in this sketchbook!
